MasteringOnline.net is the data controller for personal data processed through this site and the mastering application.

We collect information when you sign in, subscribe or pay for a plan, upload audio for processing, contact support, or interact with our site/app (including through cookies depending on your choices).
2.1 Account and identity (login)
Google OAuth profile information such as email, name, avatar, and Google ID.
We do not store passwords.
2.2 Usage data (analytics)
If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect anonymized or aggregated usage events (for example, page views and feature usage).
2.3 Billing and subscription data
Stripe customer ID, subscription status, payment status, and invoice/receipt-related information.
We do not store card details. Payment card data is handled by Stripe.
2.4 Uploads and processing data
Audio files you upload for mastering.
Identifiers and processing status required to provide the result.
2.5 Technical logs
Technical data for reliability and security, such as timestamps, IP address, user agent, error/security events, and device/browser information.
We may receive approximate location information if enabled by your device or browser settings.
3. How we use data (purposes and legal bases)
3.1 Provide the Service (contract)
To authenticate you, run mastering, deliver output files, and provide core app functionality.

3.2 Billing and subscriptions (contract)
To manage subscriptions and payments via Stripe.

3.3 Security and abuse prevention (legitimate interests)
To protect accounts, prevent fraud/abuse, and secure our infrastructure.

Stripe: payment processing, subscription management. Card data is handled by Stripe.
Hosting and storage providers: infrastructure needed to run the Service and process audio files.
6. International data transfers
Data may be processed in the EU and other regions where our hosting and providers operate. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers as required by applicable law.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, then delete or anonymize it.
7.1 Uploads
Source and mastered files are removed automatically after delivery (or within a short technical delay if needed).
7.2 Account data
Kept while you maintain an account. You can request deletion by contacting privacy@masteringonline.net.
7.3 Technical logs
Kept only as long as needed for reliability, diagnostics, and security, then deleted or rotated.
7.4 Billing records
Kept only as needed for billing, resolving disputes, and meeting applicable legal obligations.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures such as HTTPS, access controls, and monitoring to protect data, but no online service can promise absolute security against intentional attacks or security failures.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent (for analytics/marketing cookies).

10. Children
