Terms Of Use - MasteringOnline.net
Effective date: December 23, 2025
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MasteringOnline.net and the mastering application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
We provide online AI Mastering of audio files that you upload. Features, pricing, and the Service may change over time. We aim to provide a stable experience, but we do not promise that any specific feature will always remain available.
2. Accounts and access
Sign-in is provided via Google OAuth. You are responsible for securing your Google account.
Keep your session private and do not share access tokens or your account with others.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, illegal use, or violations of these Terms.
If we suspend or terminate your access due to a violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to any refund or compensation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. Uploads, content, and rights
3.1 Your responsibilities
You confirm that you own the necessary rights to upload and process any audio you submit, or that you have permission from the rights holder(s). You must not upload illegal, infringing, harmful, or abusive content, including content that violates third-party rights or contains malware.
3.2 Ownership and license
You retain ownership of your audio content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit your uploaded audio only as needed to provide the Service and deliver the mastered output to you.
3.3 Enforcement
If we receive a complaint or reasonably believe content violates these Terms or third-party rights, we may remove the content, restrict processing, and/or suspend the account.
4. File handling and retention
Files are stored only temporarily to complete mastering and deliver the result.
Source and mastered files are removed automatically after delivery (or within a short technical delay if needed).
Do not rely on the Service for long-term storage. Always keep your own backups.
5. Payments and subscriptions
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Prices and currencies are shown on our pricing page/checkout.
We do not store card data. Stripe provides us with subscription and payment status information.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
If you cancel, your access remains active until the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your subscription will not renew and access may end unless you re-subscribe.
Taxes, fees, or currency conversion charges may be applied by Stripe or your payment provider, depending on your location and payment method.
6. Refund policy
All payments are final and non-refundable, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- disrupt, overload, or attempt to harm the Service (including denial-of-service or abuse of infrastructure);
- probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities, bypass security measures, or attempt unauthorized access;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover source code or underlying processes, except where prohibited by law;
- use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service in a way that harms performance or extracts data at scale;
- circumvent access controls or usage limits;
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights;
- use the Service to build, train, or improve a competing product, or to resell the Service without our permission.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. Material changes may be communicated through the site or by email when appropriate.
Some features may be experimental or beta and may change, be removed, or not work as expected.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific mastering outcomes (for example, loudness targets, suitability for a particular platform, or commercial success).
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your uploads, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.
12. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data, cookies, analytics, and marketing cookies.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Italy, unless applicable law provides mandatory consumer protections or requires a different forum.
